How the Thymian design Beeswax wraps are made

I screen print or block print all Hasenbock’s design beeswax wraps by hand. For all prints I use eco-fiendly water-based ink and  up-cycled 100% cotton. After screen-printing the design, the fabric is heat-treated to make the print permanent and long lasting. Then, I wash and press the wrap before I apply the mix of beeswax, tree resin and organic jojoba oil.

Please note that, because I make every wrap by hand, minor variations in colors, print and size may occur.

Reduce waste by re-using beeswax wraps

Now it’s easy to say bye bye to single use plastic and aluminum foil. Instead, use these design beeswax wraps over and over again. Wrap your bread, fruit, cheese, herbs, nuts etc. After use: simply rinse cold and reuse!

To make sure your wraps will last long, here’s how to take good care of them. If you have to dispose your beeswax wraps, you can even put them in the bio-container or on your compost, where they’ll biodegrade in just a few months!

The beeswax I use to make all the Hasenbock beeswax wraps comes from the hives in our backyard. The friendly beekeeper lives in my village and loves his bees. It just doesn’t get more local, does it?
